Salt Lake City Opening is Most Successful Ever for Mummies of the World Exhibit

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mummies of the World is pleased to announce that it experienced the most successful exhibit opening to date at The Leonardo museum in Salt Lake City. The exhibition debuted on Saturday, Feb. 16, and more than 7,000 people attended the exhibit over the Presidents Day Weekend.

The Leonardo hosted an exclusive VIP Event on February 15, where more than 800 guests attended including museum members and supporters, key state and city officials. Local business leaders and exhibition representatives were on-hand to celebrate the opening of the national blockbuster exhibition.

Mummies of the World is the largest exhibition of real mummies and related artifacts ever assembled, featuring an astounding collection of 150 real human and animal mummies, and related artifacts from South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Ancient Egypt.
