Salient Federal Solutions Awarded United States Air Force WRAP Contract

FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient Federal Solutions (Salient), a leading provider of information technology, engineering and intelligence analysis services, today announced it has been awarded a multi-year prime contract to implement its Assure6^™ product suite, the only cyber security policy manager to detect and block malicious IPv6 attacks, to help secure the United States Air Force's information technology systems.

The DISA ENCORE II contract award was made as part of the Warfighter Rapid Acquisition Program (WRAP). Assure6 is an innovative deep packet inspection (DPI) security protection system being deployed in multiple Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
