SAN FRANCISCO and TOKYO, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the world's #1 CRM platform, today announced that Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff will keynote an exclusive customer event on Oct. 30 at the Prince Park Tower in Tokyo. In his keynote, Benioff will discuss how the latest technology trends are empowering companies to transform into customer companies and connect with their customers in entirely new ways. Special guests from Canon System & Support, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry and Rakuten Edy will join Benioff on stage to share how they are achieving success using next generation social and mobile cloud technologies from salesforce.com. Benioff will also be joined on stage in a special session by internationally renowned musician, songwriter and philanthropist Yoshiki who will share his ideas on collaboration, innovation and the importance of making the world a better place through philanthropic work. Yoshiki will also give a short solo piano performance.

Yoshiki is a founding member of the rock band X JAPAN, which has sold 30 million singles and albums worldwide and has filled the 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome a record 18 times. The band recently completed a sold-out World Tour of North America, Europe, Latin America and South East Asia. A classically trained pianist, Yoshiki has also been active as a composer. His compositions include a piano concerto celebrating the tenth year of the Emperor of Japan's reign, the official theme song for the World Expo, themes for numerous Hollywood films and the theme for the Golden Globe awards.
