INDIANAPOLIS, May 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesforce (NYSE:CRM), the global leader in CRM, today celebrates the grand opening of Salesforce Tower Indianapolis, the tallest building in the state of Indiana and the company's largest hub outside its global headquarters in San Francisco.
Salesforce Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff will be joined by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett to commemorate the grand opening with a press conference and a community celebration at Monument Circle.

Salesforce Supports Local Workforce Development with 500 Apprenticeships, New Partnerships
The Salesforce Economy will contribute 1.9 million new jobs and more than $389 billion in new GDP impact worldwide by 2020. Salesforce is focused on building the economy of the future, while bringing along the workforce of today.
As part of Salesforce's commitment to workforce development and equality for all, the company today announced plans to train 500 apprentices in Indiana by 2020, enabling them to begin new careers in technology. The apprenticeships will be part of Salesforce Futureforce, the company's set of diverse programs dedicated to training and hiring for the jobs of tomorrow--all of which stress inclusion and equality.
Introducing the Salesforce Tower Ohana Floor—47th Floor to be Shared with the Community
The 47th floor of Salesforce Tower Indianapolis will be an "Ohana Floor,"designed as a fully open, flexible space to accommodate all members of Salesforce's Ohana—family in Hawaiian—including its employees, customers, partners and the community. The Ohana floor will be used for Salesforce meetings and collaboration, and will also be shared with the local community. Salesforce Tower Indianapolis will also feature dedicated mindfulness areas and large social lounges designed to inspire creativity and collaboration.
Salesforce's Commitment to Giving Back
As Salesforce continues to grow in Indiana, so does the company's ability to contribute to the local community through its 1-1-1 model of integrated philanthropy. Today, Salesforce is committing to giving 200,000 total volunteer hours in Indiana this year.
More than 90 percent of Salesforce's employees in Indiana volunteer in local public schools and with nonprofits. Recently, Salesforce adopted James Russell Lowell School 51, where our employees have taught children to code. Salesforce employees have also supported a variety of local organizations including Greater Indianapolis Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club of Indiana.
