Hydropower and dam management has moved more in the spotlight with the anticipated closing of the Plymouth Nuclear Power Plant and the potential loss of 680 megawatts of carbon free power from its Energy Generating Portfolio.  State lawmakers are looking at ways to combat this shortfall as well as make the Commonwealth a national leader in energy storage.
