Saks Fifth Avenue To Unveil An Enchanted Holiday Experience With Fireworks by Grucci!
Greet the Season With Saks' Iconic Window Display And Light Show Capped by Custom Pyrotechnics
BELLPORT, N.Y., Nov. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To open the holiday season, two-time Guinness World Record Holders Fireworks by Grucci have been handpicked to deliver a custom holiday festival of lights and colors at the unveiling of Saks Fifth Avenue's "Enchanted Window" display. The November 24 event, which is open to the public, will transform the facade of the iconic luxury retailer and the skies above into traffic stopping spectacle.
The pyrotechnic performance, designed personally by Fireworks by Grucci CEO and Creative Director Phil Grucci, is the result of months of collaboration with the creative team at Saks. "There is no better stage in the world than midtown Manhattan," said Grucci. "We wanted this to be a special performance that kindled the holiday spirit, so I picked the most high-end and cutting edge materials available. You will see white snowball comets, white twinkling plumes, and silver glittering waterfalls, all made in the United States to be safely displayed from the roof of this famed building."
The Fireworks by Grucci team spent more than 15 hours of design time choreographing its effects to the lighting projected on the building and a live performance by Radio City Music Hall's celebrated Rockettes.
Saks promises a first-of-its-kind show, integrating LEDs, strobes, up-lights, video projections and music into a stunning program that is bigger and more brilliant than ever before, culminating in the grand Fireworks by Grucci finale.
