Saint-Gobain Names New Vice President of Development and Recruitment

VALLEY FORGE, Pa., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Valerie Gervais has been named Vice President of Development and Recruitment for the North American businesses of Saint-Gobain, the world's largest building materials company.  

The company employs 19,000 people in its North American businesses, which include Valley Forge-based CertainTeed, a manufacturer of roofing, siding, wallboard and insulation.

Gervais will be responsible for the company's executive recruitment, succession planning and career development activities.

Prior to joining Saint-Gobain, Gervais was Director of Talent Management for GlaxoSmithKline in Philadelphia.  Before that, she worked in personnel development for the Holiday Inn in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Gervais has a master's degree in business from the Institute of Management in Rennes, France, and resides in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
