Saint Francis Hospital Holds Free Heart Festival Feb. 18
Speakers, healthy cooking demonstration, free screenings, and more
EVANSTON, Ill., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Saint Francis Hospital's annual HeartFest on Feb. 18 will be bigger and better than ever – with free cholesterol, diabetes, and blood pressure screenings as well as a healthy cooking demonstration and lectures from physicians. The heart festival is free and open to the public. Keynote speaker Patrick Reynolds, an anti-smoking activist and grandson to cigarette company founder R.J. Reynolds, is anticipated to draw a standing-room only crowd with his discussion called "Tobacco Wars: the Battle for a Smoke-free Society." The indoor festival begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. at Saint Francis Hospital, 355 Ridge Avenue, Evanston, Ill. Reynolds will speak promptly at 1 p.m. in the auditorium.
