Saima Majid Joins KCC as Director of Corporate Restructuring Services

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- KCC, a Computershare company and premier provider of administrative-support services for the legal and financial industries, announced today that Saima Majid has joined the company as Director of Corporate Restructuring Services. Bringing more than 6 years of legal experience to KCC, Saima will actively support the company's growth initiatives and contribute to the administration of client engagements.

Prior to joining KCC, Saima worked as an associate in the Business Finance and Restructuring department of Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP in the New York office. Saima's key company restructuring representations include Magna Entertainment, Centro Retail Trust, Pilgrim's Pride, and Vertis Inc. She has also represented major key creditor constituencies, institutional lenders, and/or purchasers of distressed assets in the Chapter 11 cases of Nortel Networks, ProtoStar Ltd., American Home Mortgage, Delphi Corporation and Adelphia Communications.
Saima received her Juris Doctor from the Brooklyn Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. She is licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
KCC was recently recognized as a Finalist/Winner for Turnaround Service of the Year. Recent Chapter 11 case retentions include Eastman Kodak Company, Hostess Brands, Inc. and New Page Corporation.
