SAIFE, Inc. Granted Authority to Operate the SAIFE® Framework on Navy Network

CHANDLER, Ariz., June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SAIFE, Inc. today announced that the United States Navy has granted the SAIFE® Mobility Suite an Authority To Operate (ATO) on the Navy's Special Communications Requirements Division's RDT&E network. The SAIFE Mobility Suite provides secure data-in-transit, secure messaging, and secure voice with simplified secure device management on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other devices. The ATO enables the Navy to move forward with wide-scale trial deployments to assess interoperability with existing infrastructure.

The SAIFE platform utilizes FIPS 140-2 validated Suite B cryptography software with elliptical curve-based encryption, and the SAIFE Mobility Suite meets stringent military standards for securing communication between mobile devices. Global communications are provided through SAIFE's worldwide secure network TIPRNET®, which protects against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and includes multi-endpoint interoperability on public infrastructure.
