SAIC Wins $108 Million Contract to Support Navy Tactical Mobile Program
Company to Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Support Services
MCLEAN, Va., April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to provide systems engineering and technical support services to the Navy Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) Program. The single-award contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total contract value of more than $108 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and Patuxent River, Md.
The TacMobile Program provides the ground support elements for pre-flight mission planning, in-flight data processing, and post-flight data processing and analysis for maritime patrol aircraft in performance of anti-submarine warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Under this contract, SAIC will provide integration and testing of TacMobile hardware, engineering services for maintenance and support of currently fielded TacMobile systems, and design engineering services to support future system upgrades and technical refreshes.
