MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) was awarded the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract, a government-wide, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity acquisition agreement that includes program management, management consulting, logistics, and engineering, scientific, and financial services. Awarded by the General Services Administration (GSA), these multiple-award contracts have a five-year period of performance, with one five-year option. SAIC is one of six awardees named in all seven pools to perform work both domestically and globally.
OASIS was developed by GSA in response to the government's need for a hybrid, government-wide acquisition vehicle that provides a streamlined solution for both commercial and non-commercial requirements for professional services. Its design reduces duplication of contracting efforts across the government and provides federal agencies with comprehensive, integrated contract options.
Under OASIS, SAIC will provide flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services across all agencies and departments of the federal government.
"OASIS is a low-risk, one-stop-shop for our federal, civilian and defense customers. GSA's approach provides a government-wide solution for complex integrated solutions and offers even more capabilities and flexibilities," said SAIC Sector President Nazzic Keene. "This critical program solution should drive down cost and increase efficiency across our entire customer base."
