SAIC Awarded Contract by the Naval Air Systems Command
Company to Provide Financial, Program, and Business Analysis Support Services
MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a follow-on contract by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to provide financial, program, and business analysis support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's (NAWCAD) Comptroller Department and Program and Business Analysis Division, also known as the Business and Financial Management Community (BFMC). The multiple-award contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total value of more than $49 million for all awardees, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md. and Lakehurst, N.J.
The BFMC provides business and financial services and products that help improve performance, quality, timeliness, and efficiency throughout NAVAIR and NAWCAD. The department also acts as a liaison to NAVAIR's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office and the U.S. Navy ERP Program Office, and provides support for special programs and studies. Under the contract, SAIC will provide specialized analytical support in areas including special programs, budget (formulation and execution), workload planning, data warehousing, manpower management, and technical acquisition assistance.
