SAIC Awarded $38 Million Contract by Holly Refining & Marketing - Tulsa LLC
Company to Provide Design-Build Services in Support of Tulsa Refineries
MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) announced today that effective August 11, 2011 it was awarded a prime contract by Holly Refining & Marketing - Tulsa LLC to provide design-build services in support of its Tulsa refineries. The contract value is $38 million and the new facilities are scheduled to be completed in 2013. Work will be performed primarily in Tulsa, Okla.
HRM - Tulsa purchased two existing and independent Tulsa refineries -- the Sunoco Refinery (now the Holly Refining Tulsa West Plant) and the Sinclair Refinery (now the Holly Refining - Tulsa East Plant). Under the contract, SAIC will provide design-build services for a new Sodium Hydrosulfide (NaHS) Unit, a new Amine Unit, and the completion of a portion of an interconnecting piping project for the refineries.
