SAIC Awarded $20 Million Design-Build Contract to Support San Diego County Regional Airport Authority
Company to Provide Design, Engineering, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Services at the San Diego International Airport
MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) announced today it was awarded a contract by Turner PCL Flatiron to provide design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning services of the security systems for the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. The design-build contract has a 30-month period of performance and a value of $20 million.
The San Diego Airport Authority works to improve the efficiency, safety, and security of operations, while managing day-to-day activities and addressing the region's long-term air transportation needs. Under the contract, SAIC will provide design-build services for security, network, and building and maintenance management systems.
