SAIC Awarded $16 Million Task Order to Support Military Health System
Company to Provide System Monitoring/Management, Engineering Support to Tri-Service Infrastructure Management Program Office
MCLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity to provide system performance management services for the Military Health System (MHS) Tri-Service Infrastructure Management Program Office (TIMPO). The follow on task order has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options and total value of more than $16 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Falls Church, Va., San Diego and San Antonio. The task order was awarded under the Defense Medical Information Systems/Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance Services (D/SIDDOMS 3) contract.
TIMPO delivers and manages the communications and computing infrastructure necessary to support information technology systems throughout the Military Health System. Under the task order, SAIC will provide system monitoring and management services, and engineering support for TIMPO's data transportation and processing infrastructure. SAIC will provide continuous network monitoring, management, engineering, reporting, and real-time fault isolation. Other services will include status reporting, event correlation, and network engineering support.
