SAIC Awarded $13 Million Task Order to Support the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA)
Company to Provide MCIA with IT Support, Enterprise Management, and Information Assurance Services
MCLEAN, Va., April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region to provide information technology services to the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA). This new, single award task order has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options, and a total value of more than $13 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in Quantico, Va.; Camp LeJeune, N.C., Camp Pendleton, Calif.; and Marine Corps Base Kaneohe, Hawaii. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services contract.
The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) is the defense intelligence arm of the United States Marine Corps. It provides tailored intelligence and services to the Marine Corps, other services, and the intelligence community based on mission requirements. It supports the development of service strategy, force structure, training, education, and acquisition activities. Under the contract, SAIC will support MCIA in areas including enterprise management and information assurance, network operations, and performance and asset management.
