Sage Launches Sage ERP X3 Industry Solutions Program

Taking advantage of the solution's best-in-class standard management features as well as capabilities for in-depth process customization, Sage and its partners are developing further Sage ERP X3 industry-specific solutions. The new Industry Solutions Program will be aimed at the process and discrete manufacturing, services and distribution sectors with the immediate availability of the first Industry Solution for Services module "Project and Job Costing".

Sage ERP X3 has a strong base of over 3,000 customers worldwide and across all industries, and together with its partners delivers an ERP solution tailored to customers' business requirements. The new strategy develops this further by focusing on providing customers with the standard business functions of Sage ERP X3 strengthened by the addition of integrated processes that meet industry-specific standards.

This will be achieved through close working partnerships between Sage and its partners to implement best practice methodologies for the discrete and process manufacturing, distribution and services industries within Sage ERP X3. The Sage ERP X3 Industry Solutions will allow customers to significantly save time in the implementation of business processes as well as reduce the costs related to the overall implementation project. In addition it provides a secure and scalable business platform that can be further customized for customer-specific functionality requirements.

For Sage partners, the program will offer additional revenue opportunities by drawing on their industry experience, expertise and assets along with Sage's expertise at a global level. Partners and Sage will collaborate on defining the Sage ERP Industry Solutions through advisory board participation and co-development opportunities.

The new Industry Solution for Services "Project and Job Costing" module within Sage ERP X3 will help customers to simplify the management of specific service activities and maintain full visibility on the operational, sales and financial aspects of their projects. Its features are tailored to the needs of professional service companies, especially businesses delivering operational services, such as recruitment and facilities management, or intellectual and technical services.
