Safeway Voluntarily Recalls Red Velvet Cake Sold in Five States in Cooperation with CSM Bakery Solutions Recall of Products Containing an Undeclared Peanut Allergen
CENTENNIAL, Colo., April 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In cooperation with the CSM Bakery Solutions (CSM) voluntary recall of bakery items that may contain an undeclared peanut allergen, Safeway is voluntarily recalling Red Velvet Cake that was supplied by CSM and sold in Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming, as well as stores in Farmington and Aztec, New Mexico.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. The recalled product is sold in the bakery department.
