Safety-Kleen Hosts Top Performers at Annual President's Council Awards Event

PLANO, Texas, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace headlined Safety-Kleen Systems annual President's Council awards event in Scottsdale, AZ, March 24 - 27.  

The theme for the annual event was "Success: Defined," and 55-time NASCAR race winner Wallace referenced his experiences and challenges in achieving success in the highly-competitive world of racing while honoring the 72 individuals in 21 categories from across the Safety-Kleen organization for their accomplishments in 2010.    

The three-day event was topped-off Saturday when Eric Zimmer, Safety-Kleen executive vice president of branch sales and service, presented individual achievement awards to the top performers for their consistent sales increases and overall performance.

"It was an honor once again to recognize Safety-Kleen's very best," Zimmer said. "These individuals achieved remarkable results in each of their respective areas, and their collective success is a great testament to our organization."

More than 200 Safety-Kleen employees, executives and vendors attended the recognition and appreciation event, including title sponsors Afton Chemical, Demenno/Kerdoon and Ryder Transportation. Zimmer expressed Safety-Kleen's appreciation for the support of its vendors and recognized their important contribution to the company's overall success.

Five-time President's Council winner Mike Thompson, of Brampton, Ontario, also thanked his customers.
