Mr. Zunke's presentation, The Evolution of Software-Driven Hardware, will focus on best practices for unlocking the value of software intellectual property in embedded/intelligent devices.

In this session, SafeNet's CTO of software rights management, Michael Zunke, will discuss the operational and security challenges facing today's embedded systems developers, and provide best-practices advice for implementing modular, secure software monetization solutions that address these challenges and help organizations make the most of their intellectual property.

The SafeNet embedded software monetization team will also be onsite at Design West to answer questions and demonstrate the power of software licensing and entitlement management when applied to an intelligent hardware device. The team will be utilizing a live race track to demonstrate how licensing can be used to control hardware at the feature-level, in this case Carrera Slot Cars, in order to improve customer lifecycle management, enhance packaging capabilities and reduce operating costs.
