SafeNet And Arrow Ally To Secure Storage, Virtual, And Cloud Environments

BALTIMORE, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in data protection, and Arrow Electronics Inc. today announced an extended North American distribution agreement focused on addressing growing market demand for comprehensive data security and compliance solutions within virtualized and storage environments.  This expands the existing agreement for authentication solutions now including the entire data protection portfolio in North America between Arrow and SafeNet.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Arrow's enterprise computing solutions segment will offer SafeNet's complete portfolio of Data Protection solutions, including ProtectV™, a comprehensive data encryption solution for virtualized and cloud environments, and StorageSecure, the industry's only high-assurance encryption appliance for Network Attached Storage (NAS). These data protection products delivered with virtualization and storage solutions from multiple vendors deliver cost effective security and compliance without compromising existing network and storage architectures.
