#ATAC24 features a variety of anti-trafficking expert speakers, interactive workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and four different learning tracks. Whether the attendee is new to the field of anti-trafficking or already involved in anti-trafficking work, they will gain valuable insights, collaborate with industry experts, and acquire the tools and knowledge necessary to return to their communities ready to make an impact in the fight against trafficking.
According to the Safe House Project website, "the focus of the Anti-Trafficking Alliance Conference is to build trust and foster collaboration within the anti-trafficking community, leading to a more comprehensive and effective approach to combating trafficking."
Kristi Wells, CEO of Safe House Project, says, "#ATAC24 is unlike any other anti-trafficking conference in the nation. It will bring together a diverse group of professionals, including leadership experts, a 3-Star Admiral, Federal law enforcement, as well anti-trafficking experts to galvanize communities for the next frontier in the fight against trafficking."
"Each of these presenters focuses on elevating and equipping leaders to protect survivors, prosecute traffickers and buyers, and, most crucially, prevent trafficking from happening in the first place," said Wells.
Kathryn Moorehead, Director of the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force, stated that the Trafficking Task Force fully supports Safe House Project's 2024 Anti-Trafficking Alliance Conference. "It is critical that agencies have ongoing opportunities to collaborate prevention efforts, share resources, and improve our collective response to meeting the needs of survivors," said Moorehead.
