SAE International Unveils New Web site, e-Magazine Series for Vehicle Electrification
WARRENDALE, Pa., Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As the saying goes, "It's electrifying!"
But this isn't about a catch phrase. Rather, it's about a new, vehicle electrification Web site recently unveiled by SAE International.
"SAE International's new Web site is designed to be a complete source for all aspects of vehicle electrification. Call it a one-stop shop," Bill Cariello, manager of Web strategy for SAE International said.
SAE International's Vehicle Electrification center is located at http://evsae.com.
The site offers a wealth of information in different formats, including:
- Books
- Events
- Technical Papers
- Research Reports
- Standards
- Training
"This site will be a valuable resource for mobility engineers seeking the most up-to-date information on standards, technology advances, product solutions, supplier news, vehicle development trends and insights from the most plugged-in experts in the electrified-vehicles field," Cariello said. "There is no organization more qualified to host such a site than SAE International, as our members span 100 nations and are at the forefront of the emerging technology."
Along with the new Web site, SAE International announces a new digital magazine series devoted to hybrid- and electric-vehicle technology. The first issue of the magazine series features a full development story of the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.
