SAE International Honors Beaver Resident with Highest Staff Honor

WARRENDALE, Pa., Aug. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Marcie Hineman, a 16-year employee of SAE International, which is headquartered in Warrendale, Pa., is the 2012 recipient of the organization's Joe Gilbert Award. Hineman is a resident of Beaver, Pa.

SAE International's Joe Gilbert Award is the organization's highest staff honor. It recognizes employees who demonstrate positive professionalism in the workplace. Candidates are nominated annually by their peers and the recipient is selected by a diverse panel of employees. The award honors Gilbert, SAE International's third executive vice president who served from 1960-1985.

Hineman is a Global Field Sales Manager with SAE International. In her duties, she manages, motivates and sets the strategic direction for a global field sales force charged with generating advertising revenue from the organization's print and eMedia products. She began as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator and also has held the positions of Supervisor, Magazine Services; Southeast Regional Sales Manager; and Associate Publisher/Assistant Sales Manager.
