WARRENDALE, Pa., April 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Winners of SAE International's JetToy Olympics have been released. The JetToy Olympics were held during the SAE 2010 World Congress last week in Detroit.
St. Edith School from Livonia, Mich., took overall top honors.
More than 500 students competed during the competition on Tuesday, April 13 held in Macomb Hall at Cobo Center. Teams of four students worked together to construct a JetToy car as a supplemental experience to SAE International's A World in Motion® (AWIM) program. The students built the balloon-powered JetToys and then competed for various distance, time, weight carrying and accuracy awards.
