SAE International and AVL List GmbH Start New Partnership in Technical Content Distribution
WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- SAE International and AVL List GmbH, one of the world's leading companies in engine technology, have agreed to partner in the development of unique technical content.
Both organizations will cooperate through the 6th AVL International Commercial Powertrain Conference (ICPC), organized by AVL in Graz, Austria.
Under the agreement, SAE International will globally distribute the technical papers chosen to be presented during the ICPC event, which happens bi-annually.
"This is an excellent partnership as it blends the relevance and prestige of AVL's ICPC with SAE International's ability to reach the mobility market, both domestic and international," said David Porreca, Director of Strategic Partnerships at SAE International.
This effort is part of SAE International's new Content Partnership Program, which seeks to expand the society's offerings in technical information. This includes co-publishing or reselling premium content in cutting-edge technologies, acquired by working closely with traditional and non-traditional publishers, industry experts, and a variety of knowledge providers.
"From AVL's perspective, it is the ideal model to make the high-quality papers given at ICPC visible and available, to the community which will appreciate them the most," indicated Peter Wuensche, Product Manager at AVL List GmbH.
