SAE International 2012 Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium Set for Feb. 23 in San Diego

WARRENDALE, Pa., Jan. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SAE International will hold the 2012 Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium on Feb. 23 at the Town and Country Resort & Conference Center in San Diego. Infineon Technologies is serving as Premier Partner for the event.

The symposium will provide a forum for the delivery on the latest technical innovations with real-world data in electric drives, motors, energy storage and system engineering from the innovators and OEMs of electric vehicle technology.

Topics to be discussed include:

Need for public charging infrastructure
Fast charging developments
Battery state of health
Utility preparedness
Secondary use, recycling and disposal

Keynote speaker for the event is Lord Paul Drayson, President of the Motorsport Industries Association, and Managing Partner of Drayson Racing Technologies.
