NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SAE Institute -- the school for creative media education, has announced the roll-out of three new scholarship programs to be implemented in the rich culture of the world renowned school.
SAE Institute, which boasts six domestic campuses and 54 international locations, has been known for their commitment to cultivating talented, creative individuals, through their specialized curriculum consisting of theoretical instruction and practical, hands-on training. SAE's mission is to teach students the skills necessary to achieve their creative potential. These opportunities will be available at all of the SAE campuses including Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York and San Francisco.
The Vanguard Scholarship is SAE Institute's most prestigious scholarship. It is a merit-based scholarship that is presented annually to one outstanding applicant, who has shown superior creative aptitude, a rigorous work ethic, and an insatiable desire to succeed. The recipient will have the entire tuition amount paid on their behalf by the SAE Creative Media Scholarship Fund.
Tom Misner's Scholarship (Nashville Campus only) is a need-based scholarship that provides financial assistance to a prospective student who is both hard-working and passionate about creative media, but has limited financial means. The recipient will have one-quarter of their tuition costs paid on their behalf by the SAE Creative Media Scholarship Fund.
Sonum Perfectum Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that provides a creatively-gifted prospective student with a chance to be rewarded for demonstrating an inherent ability and enthusiasm for audio. The recipient of this scholarship will receive one-half of tuition costs paid on their behalf by the SAE Creative Media Scholarship Fund.
Giving back is nothing new for SAE Institute. Over the past few years the leaders from campuses throughout the United States have run programs helping students reach their ultimate potential in the music industry. Some of these programs include: The Ultimate Grammy Experience, Urban School Partnership along with the Dan Brown Memorial Scholarship.
"We are excited to present these three scholarships to help individuals achieve their dreams in this competitive industry. These scholarships will become another way we can help encourage those with potential to achieve their goals," said Marco Bettelli, CEO of SAE Institute, USA and Europe.
