SAE Foundation Accepting Call for Nominations for Young Industry Leadership Award
WARRENDALE, Pa., Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The SAE Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2011 Young Industry Leadership Award. The Award will be presented during the 2011 SAE Foundation Banquet, which will be held Thursday, May 12 at The Fillmore Detroit.
Established in 2006 and formerly known as the Young Manufacturing Leadership Award, The Young Industry Leadership Award promotes careers in the engineering community by recognizing young men and women, ages 35 and under, who have significant accomplishments and who show potential for significant leadership growth in industry.
These individuals must have:
- Proven accomplishments in their career;
- Shown promise and possess leadership ability;
- Received recognition from their employer or organization; and
- Demonstrated commitment to the community, professional societies and/or STEM Education (science, technology engineering and math)
