SADA Systems Releases Large Attachment Migration Tool to Google Vault

Google Vault is a cost-effective, easy-to-use Google Apps add-on that offers organizations archiving, e-discovery and information governance and compliance capabilities. By default, Google Vault does not support attachments over 25 MB. SADA's Large Attachment Migration (LAM) Tool to Google Vault adds value and functionality by overcoming this limitation, enabling a smooth and seamless migration of all email attachments over 25 MB into a private, cloud-based discoverable archive. Links to these files are inserted into the original emails, and the resulting data can then be ingested into Google Vault.

The Large Attachment Migration Tool supports retention limits, allowing users to keep needed data while archiving files that are no longer in use. Because attachments over 25 MB are archived in the cloud, the need to maintain local storage (and the associated cost and logistical difficulty) is greatly reduced. This tool is particularly helpful for organizations making the transition from Postini to Google Vault, and for IT administrators and business managers who plan to use Google Vault to store and manage legal documents with large attachments.
