S-Crane – engineered in Germany, the sole purpose of this crane is to minimize the duration of construction, which can significantly drive down the EPC costs by down 15%. By utilizing the carefully designed, state-of-the-art suction technology, this crane allows the installation of 11 modules simultaneously. With a reach of 8 meters (approximately 3 rows of arrays), this vehicle will be able to lower the amount of labor cost by 10%, which has already been drawing attention in the European and North American markets.
1,500-V Modules – S-Energy has been working exclusively with Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and has cooperated in the process of establishing the certification requirements for PV modules with a maximum system voltage of 1,500 V. The Company is the first in the industry to have received the 1,500-V certification by UL and the new modules will be equipped with advanced materials for improved performance with stronger tolerances for higher voltages. By increasing the number of modules in a single array, this product has been proven to reduce the amount of electrical materials by 14%, leading to a 10% decrease in the balance of system (BoS) cost.
Glass-to-Glass (G2G) Modules – a frameless, PID-free PV module with a warranty term of 30 years and an annual degradation rate of 0.35%. This new and improved module has been approved to be more aesthetically pleasing, while meeting all of the safety requirements for both electrical and fire standards. With glass sheets on the module's front and back, S-Energy's G2G modules provide homeowners with a more modern look, compared to standard PV modules.
The Company's US operations, S-Energy America, had completed the installation and grid connection of 3.33 megawatts of solar carport structures at 2 Los Angeles County, California school districts in 2014.
