Ryan Promotes Melissa Drennan to Chief Legal Officer

DALLAS, May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, an award-winning global tax services firm, today announced that Melissa Drennan has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Ms. Drennan will lead the strategic direction of the Ryan Legal department, as well as the day-to-day operations, including acquisitions, contract review, corporate governance, litigation, compliance, and intellectual property matters.

Ms. Drennan previously led the legal division of a Fortune 50 publicly traded corporation and also served as deputy general counsel for several high-growth tech-sector companies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and serves in leadership roles with the Association of Corporate Counsel and the General Counsel Forum, where she also served as the Dallas Chapter President.
