Ryan Continues International Expansion with Acquisition of Netherlands-based Franke & Den Breems.
DALLAS, June 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect tax practice in North America, today announced the Firm's continued international expansion with the acquisition of Franke & Den Breems, a respected Dutch tax law firm specializing in value-added tax (VAT) and real estate transfer tax advisory services. Ryan's Netherlands operations will be based in Alkmaar and Amsterdam, and will provide local expertise for companies in the Netherlands, as well as additional support for the Firm's portfolio of multinational clients operating all across Europe.
The team of professionals, based in the Netherlands, will work together with Ryan's United Kingdom team to provide companies in the Netherlands and Europe a comprehensive suite of VAT advisory, VAT recovery, VAT compliance, tax automation, tax control framework, and real estate transfer tax services unique to the European VAT system. The Netherlands operation is already supporting a number of premier companies and plans to further acquire premier Dutch tax talent to support its existing clients, as well as the new global clients introduced through Ryan's extensive international network.
