Ryan Announces Approval of United States Patent for Innovative Method and System for Extracting Information from Electronic Data Sources

DALLAS, May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect tax practice in North America, today announced that the Firm's application for a U.S. patent on a "Method and System for Extracting Information from Electronic Data Sources" has been allowed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It is expected that the patent relating to the Firm's innovative data extraction technology, known as eCapture®, will be issued within the next three months.
