RxAlly Adds Accomplished Clinical Services Expert And Pharmacist, Rebecca Chater, To The Company's Leadership Team
LEESBURG, Va., Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RxAlly, a first-of-its-kind alliance of more than 22,000 pharmacies nationwide, announced today that Rebecca Chater, RPh, MPH, FAPhA, has joined the company's leadership team as Vice President of Health Outcomes. In this role, Ms. Chater will be responsible for providing leadership and clinical management of RxAlly solutions, as well as integrating business development with clinical staff and operations.
Ms. Chater brings to RxAlly more than 20 years of experience leading innovative clinical services programs and launching community pharmacy initiatives proven to enhance patient health outcomes and lower health care costs, including the highly regarded Asheville Project.

Most recently, Rebecca Chater served as an Executive Vice President at Kerr Health, a North Carolina-based local chain of 77 community pharmacies which spearheaded development and implementation of patient-centric pharmacy care, health screening and disease management services in local pharmacies across the state, including urban and rural locations. While at Kerr, Rebecca provided clinical leadership in the Specialty, Long Term Care and Care Management divisions, including developing and implementing an integrated model of clinical programs that optimized patient outcomes, ensured clinical efficiencies and controlled costs. She also collaborated with other executive leaders to develop and implement an organizational strategic plan, identify gaps and design solutions for performance improvement, and provide guidance and oversight for two key Medical Home projects enacted by the North Carolina General Assembly.

Ms. Chater's other prior professional roles include serving as President of KDI Health Solutions, LLC, and playing an instrumental role in the Asheville Project, which serves as a model for delivering health solutions and patient-centric care through community pharmacy. Ms. Chater is an Elected Member and Past-President of the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy and has served as Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University Of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She earned both her Master's Degree in Public Health and her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
