Russo's Restaurants Ranked 25th in Entrepreneur Magazines 2017 Top Franchise List
HOUSTON, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Russo's Restaurants has earned another franchise industry honor – No. 25 in Entrepreneur Magazine's Top Food Franchises list in the Full-Service Restaurant Category. The ranking is featured in the June issue of Entrepreneur.
The Franchise 500, recognized as one of the most comprehensive in the industry, looks at factors such as start-up costs, growth, stability, system size and financial strength and ranks restaurants in different categories, according to entrepreneur.com.
"Our Russo's New York Pizzeria® and Russo's Coal-Fired Italian Kitchen® offer a tremendous value to franchise investors with our proven business model and innovative, authentic menu items," said Chef Anthony Russo, CEO and founder of Russo's Restaurants." This ranking, along with others like Top 20 Emerging Brand by Restaurant News in 2016, show our ability to compete in the highly competitive food-based franchise marketplace."
Russo's is known for its New York-style pizza and pasta dishes using the family recipes that are more than 100 years old. The family motto "If it's not fresh, don't serve it," is seen in the fresh ingredients used daily to make the pizza dough, sauces, pasta dishes and dressings from scratch.
The investment range for a Russo's franchise ranges from $395,000 to $950,000 with some of the lowest food costs in the industry. Details about the investment opportunity, labor and food costs are on RussosFranchise.com.
Russo's Restaurants has 48 locations from Hawaii to Dubai and is growing its franchise base across the U.S. and internationally with more than 35 stores currently in development.
The company just unveiled its newest store concept – a fast-casual Italian model with open pizza and pasta kitchen with counter service ranging in size from 1,200 to 4,000 plus square feet – with its first successful store opening in Houston. Two more stores are slated to open this summer in Austin, Texas.
"What separates us from other fast-casual franchise options is the quality of our food and unique menu, and full offering of authentic Italian foods. These help drive sales," Russo said. "We also have four revenue streams – dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering."
