Russian Direct Investment Fund Statement on Accusations Made by Some US Media

Following the reports made by some US media the Russian Direct Investment Fund considers it necessary to make the following statement:

RDIF always operates in full compliance with relevant regulations and legislation and its operations do not violate sanctions.

RDIF is not a part of Vnesheconombank and its operations are wholly independent of the bank.

RDIF is not engaged in any political activities. The fund operates purely on a commercial basis, providing our co-investors with attractive and stable returns.

US investors continue to invest in Russia, including co-investing with RDIF. We believe that a constructive dialogue between US and Russia is absolutely vital for geopolitical stability and addressing key world issues whilst contributing to economic and political stability.
