Beaver to support continued high double-digit growth of Ruder Finn West
NEW YORK, July 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruder Finn, Inc., a leading independent global creative and communications agency, today announced the hire of Scott Beaver as Vice President, Ruder Finn West – the agency's San Francisco office. Beaver will support the continued growth of that office as the agency expands its presence in San Francisco and grows its global Technology & Innovation practice.
With more than 10 years of communications experience, Beaver has developed and executed strategic communications programs for B2B and B2C technology companies, from early stage start-ups to established market leaders. He joins Ruder Finn from Liberty Communications, where he founded the company's US business and led client strategy, business development and financial planning. Prior to that role, he worked at Bateman Group, managing communications on product launches and corporate announcements for clients such as Braintree/Venmo, Nutanix, and Zenprise. He also spent five years at Sard Verbinnen, representing companies on high-profile financial, legal and crisis communications.
"We're thrilled to welcome Scott to our San Francisco office, as we continue to fuel our phenomenal momentum of new business wins, new talented hires and overall growth," said Dushka Zapata, Managing Director, Ruder Finn West. "Scott has a track record of being a strong business leader and his breadth of experience will further amplify our expertise in the technology space."
Beaver's appointment is the latest evidence of Ruder Finn's growing footprint in San Francisco. Over the past several months, Ruder Finn West has grown its client roster significantly, with new clients such as Hytera, the world's second largest manufacturer of professional wireless communications; Mindjet Spigit, crowdsourcing software for innovation; Monohm, creator of heirloom electronics and technologies including the Runcible; and TriNet, a strategic HR partner to small- and medium-sized businesses. The office is continuing the expansion of its client base across sectors, collaborating with the New York, London and Asian offices as well as welcoming staff across Ruder Finn's global network to support its rapid growth.
"Since the establishment of Ruder Finn West, we've significantly expanded our portfolio of Technology and Innovation clients, and the addition of Scott to the team will further strengthen our capabilities and offerings," said Kathy Bloomgarden, CEO of Ruder Finn. "From the Internet of Things to the booming start-up market, the technology industry is growing exponentially and our San Francisco office is poised for continued strategic partnerships with emerging and established companies alike."
