SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruckus Wireless announced today that it has named David Zimmer, former senior director of North America channel sales for Huawei Symantec, as its new senior director of worldwide channels; and has appointed Anita Pandey, previously a marketing and business development executive for both Meru Networks and Cisco, its senior director of channel marketing.
Ruckus also announced the dates and locations of its multi-city Ruckus University ("RUCK-U") North American Roadshow for BIG DOG partners. The one-day Wi-Fi classes are free and take place in major metropolitan centers throughout the U.S. and in Canada during July and August.
The addition of Zimmer and Pandey, two highly experienced channel sales and marketing veterans in the wireless and networking industries, comes at a time when demand for advanced Wi-Fi systems grows at an unprecedented rate, and as Ruckus experiences exponential growth in its BIG DOG channel program.
