Rubenstein Public Relations Appoints Two New Vice Presidents
NEW YORK, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Rubenstein, President of Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR), announced today that Jodie Thomas and Kristie Galvani have joined the agency as Vice Presidents. Both women bring more than a decade of industry experience to RPR and have cultivated resilient relationships with top producers and journalists.

In her position as Vice President, Thomas will develop and execute publicity campaigns for RPR's Entertainment division. She will lead the day-to-day operations and brand elevation for clients that include The Moodsters, Appetizer Mobile, GANDER.tv, Peter Hort and Francesco Marciuliano.
Prior to joining RPR, Thomas held the position of Associate Vice President of Entertainment at 5W PR, where she managed the press campaigns for internationally acclaimed artists, including Grammy Award-winning Irish group Clannad, Tony Award-winning UK singer Alfie Boe, Portuguese songstress Ana Moura, Italian rocker Zucchero, and the #1 children's entertainment group in the world, The Wiggles. She also spearheaded the campaigns for the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, the U.S. premiere of Indonesian film "308" and the iconic guitar brand D'Angelico Guitars of New York.
Previous to her work at 5W, Thomas served as the Director of Public Relations at Decca/Universal Music Group, where she was credited with developing emerging artists' careers and helping established artists reach new heights.
Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Charleston.
Kristie Galvani is an accomplished public relations professional with extensive experience in business management, client relations, project management and strategic public relations planning and execution. As Vice President at RPR, Galvani will spearhead the public relations for RPR's lifestyle division. She will exercise brand awareness for clients including BioHitech America, The Carroll Petrie Foundation, Dr. Ken Hansraj, Experian Marketing Services, and Foru International.
Prior to joining RPR, Galvani held the title of Executive Vice President at HJMT Public Relations Inc., where she created and activated strategic media relations campaigns across industries including business, technology, energy, healthcare, finance, professional services, non-profit and media. In 2006, Galvani was named a "40 under 40" by Long Island Business News and in 2009, received the York College of Pennsylvania Distinguished Recent Graduate Award.
Galvani graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from York College of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Mass Communications with a special focus on Public Relations and Advertising.
