ABOUT RUBEN P. VASQUEZ

Mr. Vasquez has had 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.  He currently is with Cisco Systems, Inc., where he is responsible for network design, integration and upgrades and serves as a Cisco Certified Internet Engineer and Certified Voice Professional.  The company provides network systems equipment, voice and video services and storage and data center services.  Mr. Vasquez served in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1993 and also served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves in Special Operations.  He received a B.S. Degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1996 and is currently a candidate for an M.S. Degree in Information Technology, from the Florida Institute of Technology.  Mr. Vasquez was honored as a Cisco Certified Internet Engineer, one of the highest honors in the industry, in 2000.  He volunteers as a motivational speaker to youth regarding the telecommunications industry.  He is a Unified Communications Member of Cisco Systems, Inc.  Mr. Vasquez currently resides in Irving, California, where he enjoys physical fitness, travel, collecting artifacts and 5k jogging.
