RS Components Celebrates Recruitment Firm Partnership With Open Day

Staffline hosting event for job seekers in the Corby area

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, including plumbing tools and fire extinguishers has joined with local recruitment firm Staffline to host an open day for job seekers in the area.

One of the leading employment agencies in the East Midlands, Staffline has filled over 1,700 warehouse vacancies at RS in the last 10 years, with 100 placements made in recent weeks. On the back of this success, Staffline has been awarded a contract to become the dedicated supplier of all customer services staff.

Ailsa Mather, Senior Contract Manager at Staffline commented: "Winning the contract to supply customer services personnel is testament to the success we have had in placing candidates at RS over the last few years. We are keen to recruit locally so meeting people at the open day will help make the recruitment process as smooth as possible when new positions become available. The open day is being held at Staffline's new offices in the Corby Enterprise centre on Friday 6^th July from 10am to 6pm. Over 17's living in the local area are invited to drop in with their CV during the day where they will be able to find out more about RS and the role of Customer Services.
