FREMONT, Calif., May 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Royole Corporation, a leading innovator and manufacturer of next-generation human-machine interface technologies and products such as advanced flexible displays, flexible sensors, and smart devices, has announced that proven industry pro Keith James has joined the company as senior director of sales and will be leading the company's sales efforts in North America.
At the same time, Royole announced that it has strengthened its overall marketing department with the addition of veteran sales and marketing specialists Michael Williams, William Strand, and Garrett Rezzonico. These recent additions join a highly-focused team of 1000+ employees including an elite team of engineers, and internationally acclaimed R&B entertainer Akon, who serves as the company's chief creative officer.

James comes to Royole after a highly successful 11-year stint at Magellan GPS/MiTAC Digital Corporation. In his last position there, he served as senior director of sales – national accounts. He had full responsibility for managing, growing, and cultivating current and new customers, within the US and Canadian reseller, e-commerce, and distribution channels. His accounts generated in excess of $200-million of top line revenue annually during peak GPS years.
He had full account management responsibility and has worked with accounts in every class of trade across the US and Canada, including: Amazon.com, Best Buy, QVC, Walmart, and more.
While at Magellan, James consistently achieved top-vendor scorecard ratings with Tier 1 accounts, coordinated successful TV shopping airings, launched new flagship products, and managed B2B relationships.
Immediately prior to Magellan GPS, James was the eastern and central regional sales manager for HIP Interactive, Inc., where he worked with both current and new customers in the retail and distribution channels. He has also served as a regional sales director for Sega of America, Inc., and North American sales and marketing manager for the YAP division of Net2Phone, Inc. James began his career at Altec Lansing Technologies, Inc. after graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, marketing major.
In addition, Royole has strengthened its overall marketing department with the addition of veteran sales and marketing specialists. The three individuals added to Royole's marketing team are:
- Senior Director of Marketing – Michael Williams, who brings nearly 30 years CE experience, including 12 years with Sony Consumer Electronics, and will be responsible for marketing Royole's award-winning Moon 3D Virtual Mobile Theater in North America and Europe.
- Senior Product Marketing Manager – William Strand, who will oversee all Royole product development in North America and Europe, including market definition, defining appropriate features for market, future product roadmaps, and much more.
- Senior Marketing Manager – Garrett Rezzonico, who takes on responsibility for all consumer-facing marketing, from messaging and branding to online and retail support.
