MD On-Line has created a co-branded web portal linking from the Neighborhood Health Providers website and will actively market to the NHP paper-submitting providers in order to convert them to electronic filing. As the first of the Royal clients to join the effort, Neighborhood Health Providers will join more than thirty major carriers who have a co-branded relationship with MD On-Line and who have identified the Company as their preferred vendor for converting paper providers to electronic submitters.
Under this new arrangement, NHP'S physicians will be able to submit claims to NHP electronically for free. In addition, special incentives will be provided to enable them to submit claims electronically to the more than 2,000 payers who are a part of the MD On-Line network. "We are excited to be able to offer our providers the time and cost-savings benefits of electronic claims submission," said Steven Bory, President and CEO. "Improving the business of healthcare gives our providers more time to focus on the practice of healthcare and that is a win/win for them and their patients."
"Every new payer who encourages the electronic submission of claims brings us closer to our goal of helping to turn the tremendous cost and time savings potential into reality for both payers and providers," said Bill Bartzak, President and CEO of MD On-Line. "We are delighted that we will now be able to count NHP in that group."
