BOSTON, Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Row House, the nation's leading fitness rowing concept, announced today it will be the only indoor rowing concept to attend the prestigious Head of The Charles Regatta this year in Boston. The world's largest two-day rowing competition draws hundreds of thousands of global participants and spectators to the banks of the Charles River every year and will be held Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21.
Row House thrives off providing rowers with an experience that fosters a genuine connection to the sport of rowing. Not only do they row in-sync, all studios include state-of-the-art Concept2 rowing machines. Used every day by Olympic athletes, cardiac rehab patients, individuals at home and every caliber of rower in-between, the Concept2 is the authentic choice of those looking to unite low-impact cardio and strength training in one workout. Row House will have two booths at the Weld and Fitness Exhibition for spectators to visit and learn more about the brand's mission and franchise opportunities, in addition to having a team compete in the race. Team members include Row House coaches Erin Landy, Tom Brock, Jon Gragg, Morgan Weaver, Scott Marchfeld, Kelsey Slaughter, Ben Lichter, Row House member and former Olympian Grace Luczak, as well as Erin Alexander.
"As a brand that truly celebrates the authenticity of the sport of rowing, Row House is honored to be a part of this year's Head of the Charles Regatta," said Ramon Castillon, President of Row House. "This prestigious event attracts both new and seasoned rowing fans from around the world, and we're excited to connect to show how Row House is bringing the beloved sport indoors as an all-inclusive fitness regimen."
The Head of the Charles Regatta also proves the perfect time to introduce Row House to the Boston community, with the brand recently announcing three franchise agreements in Back Bay, Columbus and North Boston. The new studio in Back Bay is set to debut in December of this year, with the Columbus and North Boston studios scheduled to open in mid and late 2019, respectively.
"This event serves as a perfect preview of the Row House concept to Boston locals ahead of the upcoming opening in Back Bay. It is our hope that spectators will find Row House as a great way to get involved in rowing, which before they may have thought would never be possible," said Castillon.
Beyond Boston, Row House has recently announced several other franchise agreements in markets including Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, Upstate New York, and more. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Row House is backed by Xponential Fitness, a team with more than 25 years' experience in fitness franchising. Looking ahead, Row House anticipates 100 new studios to open each year through 2022.
