Rothstein Kass Announces Principal Promotions for 2010

ROSELAND, N.J., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Rothstein Kass (www.rkco.com) today announced that Camille Asaro, Frank Attalla, Jeff Kollin and Navin Sethi have been named Principals at the international professional services firm. Ms. Asaro and Mr. Attalla are members of the Rothstein Kass Financial Services Group. Mr. Sethi, a tax Principal is a member of both the Financial Services Group and the firm's Commercial Services Group. Mr. Kollin has been named Principal and Head of the Financial Services Advisory practice within Rothstein Kass Business Advisory Services, LLC, a Rothstein Kass affiliate. Rothstein Kass simultaneously announced the promotion of Rich Sumida to Senior Director at Rothstein Kass.

New York, New York

Camille Asaro has deep-seated knowledge of brokerage accounting, hedge fund reporting and complex capital market products. She specializes in advising clearing and introducing broker-dealers as well as hedge funds on regulatory, financial, organizational and operational matters. Camille is actively involved in the Firm's recruiting functions and professional development program, including course instruction on technical subject matters.

Camille graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. She is a certified public accountant in New York and has a NASD Series 27 Financial and Operations Principal license. Camille is the President of the New Jersey chapter of the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA) and she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Jeff Kollin leads the Financial Services Advisory practice at Rothstein Kass Business Advisory Services, LLC, Jeff advises clients, including hedge funds, fund of funds, mutual funds, private equity managers, broker-dealers and family offices, on all matters, such as business strategy, new product development, infrastructure valuation, operational, technology and risk assessments, service provider evaluation, implementation of best practices and project management.

Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. On the buy-side, he was the head of business development for a multi-billion dollar, global credit-focused hedge fund, responsible for implementing and managing the organization's operational and technology infrastructures. On the sell-side, Jeff worked at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he was the Global Head of hedge fund consulting in Prime Brokerage and the COO for Global Finance in Investment Banking.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance/International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.

Roseland, New Jersey

Frank Attalla specializes in audit and tax services for a variety of investment partnership structures, including domestic and offshore funds, master-feeder structures, fund of funds, and registered investment companies. Frank oversees audits and tax services for clientele who have various types of strategies and investments, including long and short securities, various debt instruments, private investments, PIPES and swaps. Frank also coordinates audits and regulatory filings for investment company clients registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the 1940 Act. He also provides tax planning services, advises clients on organizational structure, and reviews investment partnership agreements for structure, accounting and tax-related compliance.

In addition to his client responsibilities, Frank frequently participates in firm initiatives and instructs in-house professional development seminars.

Frank is a certified public accountant in New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from William Paterson University and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSSCPA).

San Francisco, California

Navin Sethi has over 15 years of experience as a CPA and attorney, serving clientele in the hedge fund, fund of funds, private equity and venture capital industries, advising them on tax matters as well as investment entity structuring. Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Navin was a tax attorney at a large oil and gas company in Houston. His background also includes extensive experience serving the real estate and technology industries.

Navin received both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas. He earned a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Navin is a certified public accountant in California and a licensed attorney in California and Texas. Navin was an adjunct professor at Foothill College in Los Altos where he taught classes in financial accounting and individual taxation. He is currently an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University, teaching a course on the taxation of financial products. Navin is a board member and the treasurer for the Alameda County Library Foundation and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
