Rothschild Asset Management and Larch Lane Advisors announce a joint venture for launch of a liquid alternatives 40 Act fund

NEW YORK, April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rothschild Asset Management Inc., the US asset management business of the Rothschild Group ("Rothschild"), and Larch Lane Advisors LLC ("Larch Lane") today announced the establishment of Rothschild Larch Lane Management Company LLC. The joint venture company will act as the investment advisor for a multi-manager liquid alternatives 40 Act fund that will utilize a risk balanced approach to portfolio construction.

Rothschild and Larch Lane will share their decades of experience managing multi-manager alternatives portfolios. The joint venture will bring together two long standing experts in hedge fund investing. Rothschild brings complementary global research of liquid hedge fund managers and distribution. Larch Lane is a pioneer in early stage hedge fund investing, hedge fund seeding, and is a well-known fund of hedge funds investor in the US.
