PHILADELPHIA, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Feller Casey, LLP, one of the nation's most accomplished personal injury law firms, has been retained by the parents of Mark Sturgis, one of the four young men murdered and buried on a farm outside of Philadelphia.
After an intense search featured in newscasts across the nation, investigators last week announced that they had recovered the remains of the four missing young men, including Sturgis, in graves on a farm in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pa. Cosmo DiNardo, 20, whose family owns the farm, and his cousin, Sean Kratz, also 20, have both been charged.
Ross Feller Casey, LLP, known for record-setting recoveries in catastrophic injury cases and wrongful death lawsuits, will focus its investigation on the circumstances surrounding the murders and whether or not others, in addition to those charged, are civilly responsible for the senseless deaths.
News reports, including from the New York Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer, have indicated that, despite his history of involuntary commitment for mental health treatment and prior charges for illegal possession of a firearm, DiNardo used a family-owned firearm to commit these crimes.
"We will likely never make sense of this ghastly murder spree, but we will not rest until we understand every detail, every nuance surrounding this horrific crime," said Robert Ross, of Ross Feller Casey, LLP, who is representing the mother and father of Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Pa. "The families of these young men deserve nothing less."
