root9B Awarded University of Washington Cybersecurity Services Contract

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Dec.10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- root9B, a root9B Technologies (OTCQB: RTNB)  company and a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity services and training for commercial and government clients announced today that it has been awarded a cybersecurity services contract by the University of Washington (UW).  The award is a three (3) year agreement with an option for an additional year.

The scope of the contract is to supplement the resources of the University of Washington's Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) by providing:

• Security Assessments
• Penetration Testing
• Additional Cybersecurity Services

root9B will provide services to the University of Washington, including UW Medicine, UW Bothell and UW Tacoma.  Additionally, all Washington State Institutions of Public Higher Education (WIPHE) members and any public agency will be eligible to utilize this Contract for the identified security services.
